Snowboarding
Massive mountains, brilliant terrain, easily accessible back country and a snow park par excellence. On top of that is the insiders’ tip “Kitzbühel Horn.” This is snowboarding and free skiing in Kitzbühel!

Powder lovers will find easily accessible back country on the Kitzbühel Horn that leaves nothing to be desired, from cliffs to gorges, hidden tree runs and endless powder fields, all the way to innumerable kicker spots. The best slopes, with countless variants and several breathtaking cliff drops, are reachable without much effort via the Raintal Lift on the Kitzbühel Horn.

Ice skating / Bavarian curling (ice-stick shooting)
You can ice skate in Kitzbühel independent of weather conditions in the Mercedes Sport Park. Click here for further information.
Alternatively, you can go to the Panorama-Badewelt in St. Johann, just 10 km away.

Depending on weather conditions, you can also put on your ice skates on the Schwarzsee in the open air.

You can likewise enjoy Bavarian curling (ice-stick shooting) - and mulled wine - on the Schwarzsee, as well as on the Gieringer Weiher. Our guest relations team will be happy to explain to you how to get to the Schwarzsee and the Gieringer Weiher.
Action
From bobsled construction to the “Zipflbob” sled all the way to paragliding - book your skiing adventure via element3. Here, you can get a taste of the special offers for groups. Sledding
From Gaisberg, it’s a quick drive to the valley towards Kirchberg (approximately 12 km from the Grand Tirolia). Caution: The toboggan run is incredibly fun, but it is not suitable for small children. You can find all information on sledding in the Kitzbühel alps here.

Cross-country skiing
You can also obtain cross-country skiing equipment at element3, at the ski counter directly in the golf building of the Grand Tirolia. Please reserve equipment 24 hours in advance. There are over 500 km of cross-country ski tracks available to you surrounding the Grand Tirolia. The element3 staff will also be happy to recommend the best route (and current trafficability) to you. Snow-shoeing
Snow-shoeing is becoming more and more of a trend sport. It’s no wonder, since snow-shoeing through freshly snow-covered woods is surely among the absolute highlights of a winter vacation.
